This 2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT-H is one of 500 examples produced for the model year, all of which were used exclusively as Hertz rental vehicles before being made available for private ownership. Equipment includes a black convertible top, a rear wing, a roll bar, 18″ alloy wheels, air conditioning, cruise control, black leather upholstery, and a Shaker 500 audio system. The car transitioned to private ownership in April 2008 and has subsequently resided in California, where it was reportedly part of a private collection until it was acquired by the current owner in November 2018. This Shelby GT-H convertible has 10k miles and is now offered on behalf of the owner at no reserve with a damage-free Carfax report and a clean California title in the owner’s name.
Shelby produced 500 GT-H models for the 2007 model year, and all of them were convertibles finished in Black (UA) with gold stripes. Exterior equipment includes fog lamps, hood pins, a roll hoop with an integrated brake light, a rear wing, and dual exhaust outlets. The seller notes a paint chip near the left-side hood pin as well as nicks on the front bumper stripe.
Gloss-black 18″ alloy wheels have polished lips and are wrapped in 235/50 BFGoodrich g-Force T/A tires up front and 235/55 Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires out back. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs.
The cabin features black leather upholstery on the seats, matching door panels and floor mats, and a silver-accented dashboard. Equipment includes air conditioning, cruise control, power accessories, and a Shaker 500 audio system with an AM/FM stereo and an in-dash six-CD changer.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 145-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 10k miles, approximately 200 of which were added under current ownership.
The 4.6-liter SOHC V8 features Shelby modifications including a Ford Racing Power Pack cold-air intake and a re-tuned ECU that contributed to output rated at 325 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque when new. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. Additional underside photographs can be seen in the gallery below.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or damage and lists history in Florida and California.
