If that’s true, that’s really interesting. Back in 2001, my mom was looking for an f-body so the Z28 could go to my sister and me to share in high school (and later college). She found a ’98 purple WS6 Trans Am at a local car dealership, and the guy wouldn’t let her drive it. He let us “ride” in it. Said it was too much to handle for an inexperienced driver (who just drove up in a Z28…). It had a glasspack muffler on it, but seemed otherwise stock.
